Isn't this a gorgeous cake? A couple of weeks ago we made this cake at Carrie's Cakes (carriescakes.com) for a wonderful bride and groom. It was fun to do, but very time consuming because every sugar frill was hand-rolled to tissue-paper thinness, then gathered onto the cake tiers in garlands.
The wedding photographer (melissakelseyphotography.com) did a wonderful job in capturing the romance of the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better setting to showcase our creation. Thank you to Melissa Kelsey Photography for making us look so good, and congratulations to the happy bride and groom.
