Final Thanksgiving Weecakies
When I was young my parents always took us for a long car ride in the Fall to see the changing colors of leaves. I love red and gold and orange leaves and acorns. I am so lucky to live where there is an abundance of colorful leaves in the Fall. I used to collect acorn caps to use as cups in a woodland-tea-party setting with my dolls. So, on a apple-spice cake square, I have recreated Autumn leaves and acorns. The cake is dipped in white chocolate and the leaves and acorns are molded in colored chocolate clay. These are pretty small in real life-it all sits on top of a sucker stick. Beautiful colored leaves and melt-in-your-mouth apple-spice cake truffle. What more could you ask for? Yummy!
-Thought you might like to see some more Twig Weecakies. These are raspberry swirl cake, and the twigs go over the side of the cake square-just some variations of the earlier post.
