Everafterflora: Wedding Flowers for a very Special Friend

I have been in heaven for the past few weeks making these Everafterflora for a sweet friend for her wedding.  First of all, I was thrilled that she would trust me with her flowers, and second, I rediscovered skills learned over 40 years ago. One of my favorite jobs from my past was that of apprentice florist.  I learned the basics of corsage making with fresh flowers, and those skills magically came back to me while I was making these boutonnieres, corsages, and wrist corsages.  These flowers and leaves are all hand-made and custom-colored, a skill that I recently acquired.  They are as light as a feather, will not crush, fade, bruise, or die like live flowers do.  Everafterflora are a permanent keepsake of your special day.  By the way, there are 10 groomsmen boutonnieres, 2 father boutonnieres, 2 mother's corsages and 12 bridesmaid's wrist corsages.  It was loads of work, but I was truly in heaven.  Happy Wedding Sara and Krys!

      Love,
   Weecakies
