It's FINALLY Spring because I am making Violet Jelly!

     I declare that today it is officially SPRING!......even though it is snowing here.  
April 15 is a happy day and I am doing one of my favorite things:  making Violet Jelly.  Since I have fresh violets, it has to be SPRING!  I love the way it makes my kitchen smell, the beautiful natural purple of the jelly, and especially the fresh bouquet taste.  When the jar lids make that "POP" sound as they seal it is music to my ears.  This is a fantastic way to preserve SPRING in a bottle to share with those you love.  Hope you have a Happy, Spring-y, Wonderful day.
